How to hand rear a cockatiel.
-
First put the right amount of food in your bowl (2-3 teaspoons).
-
Next you boil the kettle and add the hot water.
-
Then you mix it all together till it is a porridge like consistency.
-
Next you put the mixture into the syringe.
-
Then put the tea towel on your lap and rest the baby bird on the tea towel.
-
Then gently, little bit at a time squeeze the food into the birds mouth. Do this till the birds crop is full. (Don't give the baby bird to much food at a time, just give them a little bit).
Happy feeding
